Steps to Obtaining Your Online TABC Certification:

Sign Up - Fill out the registration form and pay.

Fill out the Form - Click the "Proceed" button at the bottom left of the page.

Take the Course Now or Later - Returning Student Login is on the first page, upper right hand corner.

Important - Texas law requires you to take the course in one sitting. The course takes 3 hours and 20 minutes and state law allows up to 6 hours to complete the course. You can't log out during the course and come back later.

Take the TABC Test - online.

Print your TABC Certificate - You may print out your temporary TABC certification immediatiately.

Receive you TABC Certification Card - within 5 to 10 business days by US mail.

Frequently Asked Questions about our Online TABC Certification Course;

How long is the course? - Your online TABC certification will take 3 hours and 20 minutes to complete. It must be completed in one 6-hour setting . You may take a break anytime you wish throughout the 6-hour period, however, TABC regulations require online courses to be completed within one 6-hour setting.

Is there a test? - There is a final exam that you must score 70% to pass. You will have 2 attempts to pass the final exam and if you don't, you'll have to take the course over again (free of charge), but we think you'll do just fine. Don't bother writing all of this down, we'll remind you about all the important fine print and details when you enroll and begin your course.

How long is the TABC certification valid? - The TABC certification is valid for two years from the date it is issued. If you are unsure of the date you were certified, you may look it up on the inquiry screen located at https://www.tabc.state.tx.us/liccom/seller/default.htm

How do I renew my existing TABC Certification? - To maintain your TABC certification you must attend the full TABC training course every two years. There is no way to "test out" of the class, and there is not a different, shorter recertification class.

What if I need help? - We've got you covered. A live 24-hour support center is available to take your calls, emails or chats. Our help desk can help you with the most frequent issues such as lost passwords, un-locking the course, downloading Flash and more. If there is an issue they cannot handle, one of our instructors (available M-F 9-5 CST) will be notified to help you with content or certification questions.

Will my computer work with this course? - Most all PC computers will work with this course as long as you have Internet access. Although other browsers sometimes work properly, we strongly suggest using the Internet Explorer browser to complete our course. You can login from multiple computers, as long as you are connected to the Internet and remember your username and password.

What if I lose my certificate? - At anytime during the validation period of the certificate, you may log in to PBSA-TABC-Certification Course again and click on "Returning Student" to go to the end of the completed course and reprint your certificate. You will need to use the same username and password you originally used to take the course. If you have forgotten this information, please call Customer Service at (800)442-1149.

Who uses your online TABC Certification Course? - Many major texas compamies require their their employees to take their TABC ceftification off premises. We have had students online from Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi, Galveston, etc.
