2006 Bartenders in Paradise Flair Contest
The 2006 "Bartenders in Paradise" bartending flair contest will be held Monday May 22nd in San Jose, Costa Rica. There is a maximum of 15 competitors only, so register soon if you plan to compete.
Your $250.00 entry fee includes 4 nights hotel, all transportaion during the stay and 2 tours. (rain forest/beach and camopy tour/bungee jumping/rafting. You are responsible for your own airfare.

2006 Leadership Confereence - San Juan, Puerto Rico
PBSA is holding it's annual leadership conference on May 20th and 21st at the Carribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
On Friday, May 19th the PBSA management and instructional staff will be taking a tour of the Bacardi Rum Distillery.
On Saturday, May 20th, Rob Turek of Startenders will teach a bartending flair session for the instructors. Rob has finished in the top 15 in the world in Las Vegas Legends flair competition and in the Quest contest at Universal in Orlando.
Rob was recently featured in an article on flairbar.com. All of the flair bartenders featured are PBSA graduates.
Saturday night will feature our 2005 awards banquet where the best schools and staff are given awards commemorating their great performance for 2005.
We have about 35 commitments so far for attendees and anticipate a few more.
The Hilton hotel features the Oasis bar which claims to be the creator of the original Pina Colada. We all plan on doing a little field research while there!
